The spray train usually attracts a lot of railfans as it often runs with SD40-2s (of course before 2019, it was GP38s). The 2023 train had 6055 pulling it but they ran into issues on the Galt sub and took the unit off in Wolverton. CP replaced it with the most convenient unit around: UP 4068 (SD70M). After spraying the Hamilton and an overnight layover at Guelph Jct, the weed sprayer is running at trackspeed back to Agincourt where a new unit would take over to continue the journey across Canada.

  1. Wish i’d seen this. The last two units before the SD40-2′s, that ran 2 Years consequetively, were GT units too! I guess you can call this one the Railfan/Foamer Special.

  2. Yep, the spray train usually has something interesting for railfans!
