VIA 185 The Sudbury to White River train has stopped at CP Swanson to exchange arriving and departing guests, and load/offload baggage and supplies for the famous Lodge Eighty Eight at Mile 88.8 CP White River Sub.
While the VIA crew assist guests with gear at the baggage car, one passenger at left can be seen picking raspberries which were thick on the bushes everywhere along the line.
Those clear plastic bags down by the baggage car are filled empty water bottles and beer cans being returned for deposit/recycling. Someone will pocket a few dollars from that load!!! :-)
VIA 6105 is sporting the VIA Rail Canada logo on the center of the nose door, and running numbers stenciled at the lower front corners making it a little less stealthy than VIA 6250 seen in a photo I posted yesterday. I much prefer the noses of these VIA Budd cars with yellow paint.
Another trip with perfect weather. :-)

  1. Maybe the VIA 6250 had a run in with a moose and required some cosmetics repairs?
