  1. Great shot! Lots of colour on the nose of VIA 6202. Straight exhaust stack. Quite the angle on that step box!

  2. IIRC, this was the IRSI “demo car” rebuild they did to show what could be done upgrading an old RDC. It survived the scrapping purge and was sent to a commuter upstart in Vermont(?) a few years back (All Earth something, along with most of the TRE RDC’s that VIA got outbid on).

    It wouldn’t surprise me if it was being leased to VIA at the time to cover for one of their own cars being overhauled.
