CN GP38-2W's 4776 and 4791 splice BNSF GP38-2 2090 on train #579, heading eastbound on the Halton Sub past Humber in the late morning sunlight. The short train is heading back to MacMillan Yard with five autoracks in tow after switching the Brampton Chrysler plant auto compound. BNSF 2090 (originally built as BN 2090) is one of a bunch of 4-motor units from BNSF paying back horsepower hours to CN. When it opened back in 1986 as the AMC Bramalea Assembly, the Brampton Chrysler plant did have a siding from the North Park Industrial Lead (aka BIT pullback track) into the plant for parts delivery, but due to noise complaint concerns from the nearby residential neighbourhoods it was never used (and parts and completed automobiles were moved by truck instead). That changed around 2013-2014 when auto loading facilities were built on site and sidings added.
