With its usual block of reefers for the Ontario Food Terminal near Mimico Yard, an eastbound accelerates away from Aldershot and crosses Plains Road in Burlington. Unfortunately, this traffic was lost to the trucks in the 1980s and today there is no rail service to that facility. CN rostered 44 C630m units; only 2001 and 2000 were equipped with dynamic brakes.

  1. Nice one ! Could that have been 392 ? I believe it often had reefers on the head end. It was also typically a real heavy weight so the sound would’ve been memorable too.

  2. That would be 392.BY 1984, that train went to Mac yard with the fruit marshalled on the tail end. KO27 would come up from South Control to grab a block, then the outbound 392 would grab their chunk, double over to their train and be off for Montreal.
