VIA 693 The Hudson Bay is parked on the station track in front of the brightly painted Thompson, MB station on this beautiful March 13, 2023 day.
Two days later on the return trip from Churchill, the weather would be completely different with over a foot of fresh snow, and the drift at the end of the station as high as the VIA Rail Canada sign!

  1. Paul, would love to see that snow shot if you have one.

  2. Thanks Steamer. I have submitted a pic from my return trip two days later on March 15, 2023 showing a rather large accumulation of snow and some significant drifting against the end of the station building. Only time will tell if it makes it for you and others to view. :-)

  3. Sorry, not able to get the heavy snow photo approved for posting. :-(
