The VIA Budweiser wrap only lasted a week or two or so... it wasn't long.. you had to strike while the iron was hot.. I think there was a rumour it wouldn't be lasting long but I did mange to get it a few times. Here's one of them - you can FEEL the cold in your legs in this picture. Damn cold. Damn windy. And I went right back to work after this just north of here.

And looking at the date, I'm kind of shocked! Notice it's November 25? It looks like a January day! But it WAS this cold - in fact the temperature dipped 10 degrees below zero and winds were near 50 KM/H at Lunchtime, which was when this was taken. What on gods green earth happened that year? I can't remember a November that cold since. Environment Canada Reports confirm this.

  1. It’s called global warming Stephen!!!!

  2. The photo conveys the cold well. Nice capture.

  3. I can still feel it.

  4. I bet it felt even colder as it blew past you.

  5. Nice, never got this one. The later Budweiser wraps (circa 2011) didn’t last long either.
