CN 451 arriving at Huntsville just as the morning fog begins to lift. The weathering on CN 4762, the power for this week's CN 595 (the Huntsville Roadswitcher) might lead one to think it had sat through a wildfire or something. Not so, it's just bad paint as with most of the old "zebra stripe" painted units.

  1. The paint on the 4762 proves how reliable those units are as they are now 50 years old having been built in 1973. My guess is that is the original paint. Great moody picture. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Neat scene, Wayne.

  3. Great shot Wayne! I haven’t seen you up here for awhile. I always enjoy your Huntsville pics.

  4. Wonderful picture Wayne, well done ! Huntsville station looking OK but see some weed growth growing quickly. Did 451 make a drop ? Hopefully in 2025 (as promised by Ford), this grand station will be hosting train passengers once again. Thanks for posting, John
