Ontario has suffered ( I really like 4 seasons) through a significant January thaw. The -20 of 10 days ago changed to +3. Warm moist air over the cold ground, and it's fog city. having been in their shoes, I know how hard it is to see signals, and the knowledge of the Hog to know where the crossings are is really put to the test. It's pretty miserable for everyone. I'm about 300 feet from the train.

  1. Dave. Nice shot. The importance of knowing the territory is put to full use on a day like that.
