North of Wellington and at mileage 79.9, CP’s Victoria subdivision had a pile trestle bridge over an arm of Green Lake, and on Wednesday 1979-05-16, that was traversed by freight train No. 71 with GP9s CP 8502 and 8664 at 0941 PDT enroute Port Alberni. The rooftop air reservoirs on 8502 indicate its origin as a steam generator equipped unit.

Note the handy comparison of multimarks, original full-height on 8502 and newer smaller one on 8664.
