The 'future' is now..... VIA Train #73 has cleared Stoney Point, Ontario and is hi-balling west on the Chatham Subdivision with a new Siemens 'Charger' set on the first revenue run of this new equipment on a Windsor bound train. Sadly I can say that I find this new equipment 'lack luster' to look at and I will surely miss the old P42's, F40's and the Budd/LRC equipment that has traversed these rails for the last 30 years as these new 'trains' just look like toys to me.... :-(

    I’m not a fan of this new equipment either, but I do hope to take a trip soon from Aldershot to Windsor and return to check out the ride and amenities offered on-board.
