On Easter 2024, CPKC 239 entered Wolverton at around 14:15 with a very short train and KCS 4842-KCS 4582 for power. I’m not sure if 239 typically does work at Wolverton, but I had a hunch that based on its size this day it would. Apparently, a 331 empty grain train terminated there earlier. The trains were merged and the power from 331 (CP 8004) was added onto the consist. Leaving Wolverton this train was much longer, including the cars from 239, the large cut of grain cars from 331, and some more mixed freight at the tailend.
