Caption: On a quite chilly, overcast summer afternoon, CP 231 motors westbound through a beautiful rock cut near the small township of Christie Lake, Ontario. At first glance you'd expect a photo like this to be from the Muskoka area, but the eastern leg the Belleville Sub finds itself in some equally breathtaking scenery for a little while as it takes a more northern path compared to the Kingston sub enroute to Montreal.

After admiring this nice shot and before reading the caption, I went to the details, wondering where on the CP Parry Sound or Mactier subdivision it was taken. Wrong !
A nice effort on a hot day.
Is this the spot?

Yup, that’s the spot Steve. It was only about 15 degrees this day, so perfect weather for the walk-in
