Caption: As part of the NRHS convention held in Toronto (that featured a visit by a special train pulled by Southern/N&W power), some streetcar equipment was also chartered during the visit. Seen here, Peter Witt streetcars 2894 & 2766 (rebuilt for Tour Tram service in the early 70's), PCC's 4675 (A12-class, ex-Louisville/Cleveland), 4701 (A13-class, ex-Birmingham), and brand new CLRV's 4000 and 4014 pose for photos along Spadina Avenue just south of College, facing northbound at Oxford Street. Attendees are lined up on the left taking photos, as some operators lounge on the other side of the street. TTC supervisor vehicles are parked at the rear, protecting the stopped lineup of streetcars.
Original photographer unknown (possibly a Charles Houser photo), Dan Dell'Unto collection slide.
