Caption: During a summer morning, Essex Terminal Railway GP9 108 is shown switching Ojibway Yard in Windsor, Ontario’s west end beside its caboose. This summer, GP9 108, which is the last unit in the railway’s yellow paint scheme, was sent for work to the Lambton Diesel Specialists (LDS) facility in Sarnia. There are unconfirmed reports the unit might receive new paint while at LDS, which would be the end of an era for the classic ETR yellow scheme. As of the end of July, there was no confirmation if the GP9 would be repainted.
