On a rainy Sunday morning, a CN yard assignment (powered by SD60 5402 and SD40-2W 5279) shuffles cars at West Jct near Walker Yard as preserved units 6514 and 6614 look on. Now owned by the Alberta Railway Museum, these F units have an interesting history--they were built for CN in 1957, acquired by VIA in 1978, later sold to the Algoma Central (numbers 1753 and 1762), and retired again in 2001 before being donated the Museum in June 2003. They will be exhibited at the "Christmas in the Rockies!" charity event in Jasper on 2 August 2025 (11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Jasper CN station).
