A 4-pack of GO Transit self-powered single level cars, lead by D704, arrive eastbound at Long Branch GO station in Toronto's west end. The consist is bound for Union Station downtown, and ultimately Pickering GO Station at the other end of the Lakeshore line. Some people linger on the tracks in groups past the bridge, possibly railfans on an unknown fantrip or outing trackside.

Along with all the single-level RTC-85 commuter cars GO purchased from Hawker Siddeley Canada for their startup in 1967 (and subsequent expansions), GO purchased 7 self-powered versions, dubbed RTC-85SP (and RTC-85SP for two units with dual cabs). They were intended to provide off-peak service on the Lakeshore line. Due to reliability issues, they were depowered and turned into cab cars in the mid-70's.
