Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to Winnipeg VIA No. 1 The Canadian has pulled into the Winnipeg train shed and passengers detrain to the sound of announcements detailing local sites to see, and available off-train time and reboarding information coming through the platform speaker system. In a few minutes the platform will be closed to passengers as the train receives a full-service including, sewage dump, watering, fresh food and linens, head-end and on-board crew changes. All part of another great cross-Canada trip on The Canadian. :-)
