Nice sunny weather the morning before when this unit train went north as the 9171, 9190 & 9167. Ditto the weather at 18:30 the next day as it returned home. It made photographing the f units a delight. It had 36 sulphur loads coming around the bend to the hamlet of Coronado. On the tail end next to caboose 79286 was a scale test car (number unknown).

  1. Great shot of a classic CN locomotive trio!

  2. Gosh, what a delight this photo is! Ugh, to have been a little bit older at the time! Being 6 didn’t give me too many options!! hahaha

  3. Very nice.

  4. Great angle…crisp shot in Blue Sky Country

  5. Were these the same pool of units that had a few sent to Hamilton for the Steel Train?
