Due to safety issues – given the burnt tree trunks remain standing – forestry crews have removed the burned trunks along road and rail rights of way throughout the Park however the sides of nearby mountains are forests of standing blackened trunks. The station is visible above / beside CN 2856. The ‘good’ part of Jasper is evident, to the left out of the image the west and south side of Jasper is mainly destroyed.
