Caption: Hamilton-assigned CN S4 8170 handles a cut of loaded piggyback flatcars and caboose, heading eastbound through Hamilton Junction towards Bayview Junction on the Oakville Sub. The cowpath connecting track is visible in the foreground (Hamilton Jct-Hamilton West). This was noted by Bill as a "van turn" move, IIRC this was a yard job from nearby Stuart St. Yard sent out to Bayview to wye the piggyback flats so the trailers/vans would be facing the correct way for "circus-unloading" (i.e. backing a truck over the cars to hook up and unload each trailer separately) at the piggyback ramp in the yard. And since the junction was just one big wye, it was probably the most convenient spot for it.
In the background on CP trackage is CP GP35 5002 and RS18 8788 handling a dimensional train with Ontario Hydro schnabel car HEPX 200, waiting to head up the Goderich Sub.
