Caption: SOO Line SD40-2 6602, HATX SD45R 917 and another CP SD are viewed at CP’s Aberdeen Yard in Hamilton, Ontario. HATX 917, is former Southern Pacific 9106 and was built during 1969. It was eventually acquired by Genesee & Wyoming and became Huron Central Railway (HCRY) 459 in spring 1998. It was later transferred to the Buffalo & Pittsburgh Railroad (BPRR) and became BPRR 459. Several years later it was rebuilt as BPRR SD40M-2 3063 retaining the SD45 style carbody.
