is Hamilton back in vogue? Hopefully the Hamilton goons are still watching. Rail America purchased Raillink Canada in 1999 - but it's 2010 and even then getting three RLK painted locomotives was not exactly easy. I had seen this a few years earlier on a GEXR plow run but to be honest I may have only seen three RLK units together three times between both railways. Back in this era I just had my 2'nd kid and any train photography was on the way to or from a family gathering in either Hamilton or Sarnia area - the babies had to see their parents, grandparents, and great grandparents. 18 years later I'm still doing this stuff (especially the grandparents while we still can) but the kids are much bigger and I have a lot more free time :) Visit what you love while you still can - trains or otherwise, just don't forget to spread it around!

  1. Well that’s pretty fantastic Mr. Host. I regret not spending more time in the north end searching for RaiLink!

  2. Thank you Mr. Smith Sir. I have a few more Raillink photos from this era and a couple more from this day.

    I wish I did more…
