Lots of activity at West Toronto as the Canadian takes on passengers and waits to cross onto the Mactier Sub. An eastbound freight behind an SD40-2 and a big MLW pound across the diamonds, while an MLW switcher can be seen waiting to clear the Mactier Sub. Also note two yellow switchers in Andrew Merrilees yard.

  1. Nicely done, John. All the details captured very well.

  2. Another “what I’d give to be there” shot…..

  3. Very Nice. I live in West Toronto and I’ve never heard of Andrew Merrilees Yard. What was the history of it?
