Caption: CP’s Aberdeen Yard in Hamilton, Ontario is a long way from Roseville, California, however HATX 923, which began life as Southern Pacific SD45 8807, is seen still proudly displaying its home shop designation despite being in the employ of a new owner. Now a part of CP’s massive mid-90’s lease fleet, HATX 923 is rubbing shoulders with CP C-424 4226, both awaiting their departures from Aberdeen Yard. Behind HATX 923 is CP SD40-2 5901 and trailing 4226 are SD40-2 786, leased Conrail SD40 0809, GP9u 8248 and C-424 4216.
