During a stop over in Ottawa after the overnight Toronto - Ottawa leg of the massive 692.2 mile trip behind CNR 6167, the morning CPR movements are out of the way, and 6167 can prepare to take the 17 car train across northern Ontario. Switching movements commence beneath the Laurier Avenue Bridge with the Parliament Buildings towering over the scene at left, and the Chateau Laurier at centre.
