GO Transit F40PH 512 trails on an inbound Toronto commuter train just east of Cabin D interlocking near Bathurst Street bridge, passing CN S13 8518 running light power between switching duties at Spadina Coachyard. On the left is one of the CN yard towers in the area (there was one here, another at Don Yard, one in Mimico Yard and another at Mimico near Canpa), on the right in the distance are the coaling towers near Spadina Roundhouse.

In a few years this area would undergo massive changes as a flyunder was dug right here in the early 80's, the old Cabin D tower and interlocking plant automated (as Bathurst Street), the CN Bathurst freight yard (to the left) rebuilt for storing GO Trains, and not long after VIA would close its former CN Spadina diesel and passenger servicing facilities in 1985 in favour of moving them to Mimico.
