A close call for all concerned. Boat and trailer being towed up to the storage facility when the boat somehow broke loose, slid off the trailer, down the grade, and right onto the CP mainline. It was lucky a freight meet was coming up, the southbound CP 9147, 9156 was slowing up as the northbound was just taking to the siding. Crews from both trains, along with others locally tried to no avail to move the boat. In the end a fork lift from the marina had to come to the rescue.
