When I used to go to Thunder Bay/Fort Frances for work I always tried to get some shots along the way. The Sault, Hawk Jct, CP from White River to Thunder Bay were all along the way. Would try to time it right for the light too. This day I got double lucky as I was able to get a great roster of WC SD45 #6605, as well as one of WC's FP45's sitting quietly in Hawk Junction. About 20 minutes after I shot this the local came back from the south with 2 SD45's and lifted both the FP45 and this SD45 to make the run to Sault Ste. Marie. Would have been great to shoot that train heading south, but sadly they ran at night. Oh well, you can't get them all.....
