TRT 702 is fully rebuilt, freshly painted, and ready to begin service on the newly formed Tshiuetin Rail Transportation railway. 702 was coupled to TRT 701 and three refurbished coach cars in QNS&L's Sept-Iles, QC yard waiting for a call to duty on this dull October afternoon in 2005.

  1. These are neat units. ex-CN GP40-2s, but rebuilt to GP38-2s.

  2. Right you are Chris! TRT 701 is ex-CN 9663 and TRT 702 is ex-CN 9667.

  3. Comparing that loco to an as-delivered GO Transit GP40-2W (image here), that scheme looks very GO-inspired from the sides.
