This is a reminder that WINTER is coming.......and this year it could be a long one. This photo taken from the  Royal Botanical Gardens overlooking the old "Hamilton West" shows VIA 6780 (I think it is 'CN' on the nose)and an unidentified CN passenger locomotive slowing into the curve at Bayview Jct. Not sure (no TT) but I believe it is the morning #70. A late spring storm makes this scene look like the dead of winter although it is already April!!

  1. I missed this the first time up but it serves as a reminder that April snow storms are not uncommon in southern Ontario. (April 15 2014 too.)That’s a nice view point, a change from the “walk bridge”.
