To celebrate the restoration of the former Northern Pacific of Manitoba, a CN predecessor, station at Miami Manitoba the historic society ran a weekend of excursions out of Miami on Southern Manitoba Railways former CN line in Southern Manitoba. CN SW1200RS on a Somerset turn with Prairie Dog Central coaches passes the elevator at Deerwood after climbing the Pembina Ridge on a massive loop.
