Railway Men - Pictured are some of the people who were responsible for bringing the Grey Cup Train to Guelph, Ontario. From left to right - Brad Jolliffe, Ontario Southland Railway (Pilot), Tom Sagaskie, General Manager, Guelph Junction Railway, and Jordan Mcallum (VIA Rail Engineer). Tom Sagaskie put in countless hours in negotating with partner railways for a contract to make this happen - The Canadian Football League, VIA Rail, Goderich-Exeter, CN (!), and even Metrolinx who all had a hand in delivering this train in Ontario. (Canadian Pacific was involved out west, only). Sources indicate in the first hour a few hundred people went through the display cars, thusly Thousands of people managed to tour it in its few hour display in downtown Guelph. Of course, three weeks later it was announced the Hamilton Tiger-Cats football team would play in Guelph - as their stadium is under construction in 2013 and the University of Guelph Alumni Stadium will serve as home field for 2013.
