Today's (2013-01-21) 331 with BCOL 4616 reminded me of another 331 I chased to Paris West with a BCOL leading. Here we see 331 departing Paris West with a good cut of cars from US Steel on the head end. I guess the crew didn't know their lift very well and kept a buffer for Esso tank cars that usually dominate 331's lift at Paris.

  1. They could of kept the buffer for train handling also Rob. Those long cushioned drawbars on the coil cars can be a nuisance when they are on the head end. Cool shot! Love seeing those BC Rail covered wagons!

  2. Good point cpcnguy. Thanks.

  3. If you were to re-post this again, I bet it will do a lot better than a couple. :-)
