CP TO7 blows for the Old Scugog Road crossing at Burketon. Although the road signs proclaim Burketon, the Railway once knew it as Burketon Station, and it held the status of a junction point, being where the Lindsay, Bobcaygeon, and Pontypool Rwy started it trek north. That all ended in the late 1930's, but you can still see the wye and RofW heading north off the present trackage between Hwy 57 and Old Scugog on satellite imagery. CP3057, 3117, 3114, and 8233 power today's train. 1752hrs.

  1. Love the clouds poking up at the end of the track!

  2. Agreed. They look a little like distant mountains; makes me think of Vancouver Island.
