In May 1989 the VIA "Supercontinental" departs Edmonton behind FP9A's 6303 and 6301. Attached to the rear is the "Skeena" behind VIA 6310. This scene can never be repeated as these tracks, originally laid by Canadian Northern in 1905, have since been lifted and a community college, casino and parking lot occupy the old rail yard site. The shot was taken from the 105th Street overpass, also now a piece of history.
