Another one of those gloomy days, but if the sun had been out, it would have been right in my face. Quite the lashup on WC #11, WC 6632, 6614, FRV 1702, WC 6588, 6604, 6655, 3012 and 6506 northbound about 15 miles out of Hawk Jct. on the former ACR line, which was taken over by WC in 1995 which in turn was taken over by CN in 2001. I believe the lead unit is in MKCX paint; the third unit is Fox River Valley.

  1. Why would the Editors put that note on the picture. It is a good picture of an interesting subject. It is far better and far, far more interesting than many of the pictures on this website.

  2. A decision to satisfy the Editors – we felt a lot of people would enjoy it but some will call into question this or that – it’s the nature of a site like this – trying to please everyone while maintaining a high quality experience ;) (And yes, editors must also be satisfied)
