Due to a washout on the Oakville Sub, caused by a record setting rain storm the day before, several VIA trains including the Amtrak Maple Leaf detoured up the Weston and down the Halton Sub to Burlington West, before resuming their normal routing. Here we see VIA 83 J-trained with VIA 75 splitting the signals at Mile 30, on the Halton Sub. Typically this location only sees freight traffic, so this was a nice change of pace!
