1920 built Baldwin 2-8-0 is seen at Donalda as #9. This is the same loco that now operates the Alberta Prairies Steam Excursion out of Stettler as #41. Tom Payne's Central Western Railway was just 3 years old at the time of this shot. Sadly the Donalda tracks are no longer in place but Mr. Payne's railway went on to become RaiLink and paved the way for short line operations in Canada as we know them today.
