CN 6503(FP9A) is pulling out of Edmonton and heading westwards to Jasper with this trans-continental passenger train. Don't know if this train had a particular name back in 1973.

  1. This is two years before I bought my first 35mil camera. I think that, by then, there was only the “Super Continental” still in the timetable but I could be wrong. I know that 3 years previously to this, the “Panorama” was the 2nd train on the route. I’m a head-end car nut and to see the 1954 scheme Express box is neat. Any baggage cars in the Black & Grey with red doors were permanently assigned to express service. The same red doors were on any boxcars and reefers in express service. Good shot!
