  1. Very nice! I modeled this very engine. I trust this one is now in the same shape as mine. ;)

  2. Oh wow, how do I miss watching these and this exact unit shunt around the ferry dock and St. Clair spur back in the 90′s! Post more if ya got em dude! These little 1200RS’s are definitely a favorite of mine.

  3. Also note the funky watchman’s heater in front of the cab, a device that burned oil in order to keep the engine and its fluids warm when the unit was shutdown during colder remote assignments.

  4. It was always interesting that CN ran SW1200′s nose to nose while CP ran them back to back.
