With the engineer, engineer trainee and conductor in the lead unit, I resorted to riding in the trailing unit as we doing about 45 MPH with 12 cars along the South Track of the Halton Subdivision between Tansley and Ash, the ammeter is showing a total of 400 amps, this is easy tonnage for this pair of GP38-2\'s.
