A rare catch. On CP at least, these trains often ended up going “downtown” on the Galt Sub, for loading on a ship there. I don’t know if that can be done now, I think they have to go to Montreal. Perhaps at this point in time, CN was doing the same thing?

It’s also interesting to note the high mounted headlight, just like CP’s first few locos of this type.
