CSX 2012, and a former Chessie sister, arrive in Chatham from Sarnia late in the day on December 8, 1990. 2012 is just about to hit the CN Chatham Subdivision diamond as it passes between the old Chatham Enginehouse and Sanding tower. Sadly all that is left of this scene is a single diamond, after CN/VIA single tracked the Chatham sub from Bloomfield east, and a quiet section of the CSX that goes as far as the CP interchange. Once CN 'leased' the property all the structures were demolished within a few weeks. Thanks CN..... You suck!!
