It looks like the late Del Rosamond got up early to catch #6167 before she headed over to Union Station for her next fan trip. As the sun rises, her white-painted driver wheels and full load of coal made for a regal scene. Built in 1940 by MLW, she served her last excursion on September 27th, 1964. Meanwhile, a gaggle of S2 and S4 diesels wait for servicing and their next assignment.

  1. CNR has the option of restoring and firing up one of these gorgeous locomotives. Personally, 6167 or 6218 would be my choices, but what do I know. I’ll gladly accept 6200, 6213, or 6153.
