  1. VIA almost used budd cars on the North Mainline around 2010 – a trial was planned to run them and in advanced stages of negotiation only to have it quashed on account of crossing protection activation isues (despite budd cars being very common on the line 15 years prior).

    Drew this shot is very much still possible, but it’s tight – like any photo – trees can grow a LOT in decades.. it’s still a public park

  2. Very nice! I wonder if this shot is still accesible today, probably not with how grown up that area is now. I’ve noticed it so I gotta at least ask, what’s behind that blurred out spot?

  3. Very nice shot Bill. It would be nice if VIA used Budd cars in Guelph again.
