  1. It certainly looks like a cold day in Pembroke. Unit 2500 would make that a “CLass” engine would it not? I still find it incredible that the CPR abandoned the Ottawa Valley line that had been it’s main line for so many years.

  2. So… in yet another strange twist of fate: after studying this image for the last 45 years, I recently acquired the 2500 number plate. It was previously in the Ron Wright collection. Life is funny.
