In response to John Pittman's reminiscent capture ( http://www.railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=21760 ) of RLK 1200 and the ensuing commentary about RLK 1200's lifespan, I recalled going down to the shops at Stewart St. one day and seeing the unit getting acquainted with the scrapers torch. So I thought I'd share the perspective from the viewfinder of my old Minolta (actually, that Minolta was my dad's) way back when on October 8, 2008, although 1200 hadn't run in many years prior to this, I believe. This was back when I was young and inexperienced so excuse the close cropping.
