While walking around the C&O site in St Thomas it became very clear that the local employees took a lot of pride in their buildings, & grounds. Everything was neat & tidy! The way a photographer likes to see it. The site was just the opposite of many locations I have photographed over the years. It was a pleasure not to need a weed whacker, a tree pruner, a lawn mower, or a ground's crew with you in order to get a decent picture.
