When walking around rail yards you sometimes encounter some strange things! The home made speeder in the attached photograph would be one of them. Standing there looking at it so many questions & thoughts came to my mind. Who made it,was it only used during the summer, was it only used when there was no rain, why no windshield? The operators seat looked comfortable. Considering the size the local mosquitoes my guess is that the operator never smiled while the speeder was in motion. Would have loved to have seen it in action, but never had the chance.
